Solar ’s Sealants for auto body repair are elastic filling compound used for the purpose of water-proof sealing applied to the inter-structure joints or adhered area of auto body.
Our Sealants are cured with moisture and classified into urethane resin type and modified silicone resin type. Basic product shapes are tube of 160ml and cartridge of 320 ml.

Common problem of Urethane resin type sealant is that CO2 gas incidental emission cannot be controlled under high temperature and moisture. Solar’ s #551 can restrain this problem by means of applying a special hardening mechanism. Also raw materials are designed to prevent deterioration by exposure to UV beam.

Excellent in operability and thermo-sensitivity. Obstruction to hardening effect is not observed even when #580 is applied to alcohol-containing paints or solvent.
